If you only seek feedback from others, you can request it here.
Before you do a few guidelines.
Provide a few needed things
Game's title (if the title is subject to change, please note so).
An as brief description of the game as possible
Genre
Downloadable / Browser game
Paid / Free (although seeking feedback and requiring people to pay is not a wise way to go)
If downloadable is it for Linux, Mac or Windows?
This is no advertisement thread. If you just seek to gather more traffic for your game go to this thread in stead!!! There you can also be as great and expanded as you wish. This is for brief feedback requests.
If you seek feedback because you are trying a field you've not ventured in before, like a new genre, or a new art style or whatever, mention this in your request. This can help people to give you the specific feedback you need.
No crowdfunding campaigns here.
Games only. Preferably hosted on Game Jolt.
Preferably no fan games. They are not yet forbidden, but if I see these "overshade" the other kinds of games, they will be. Sorry!
This thread is not for seeking alpha/beta testers. You can do that on the jobs and collab forums, respectively.
If you see a feedback request here and want to give feedback a few pointers:
"This is good" or "this sucks" will NOT suffice!
Best is not to give the feedback in this thread, but in the comment section of the specific game or through private chat or other private channels.
If you however decide to give feedback through this thread, USE THE REPLY TO POST FEATURE by clicking this icon that lives under every post
That way we all know which game you mean, plus the respective developer will get a notification. If it's not clear to me to which game you reply I will delete your post.
Also be sure you are the right person for the job. If somebody wants feedback about an RPG while you hate RPG yourself, you are not the right person to give feedback.
This thread is NOT meant for discussion. If you don't agree with other people's feedback, well back luck.
I will also not allow programming language feuds. If I see stuff like "this game is crap because it's written in scratch" be warned that I will make a note of that.
Three strikes = ban, in extreme cases even sooner!
I know this sounds strict, but at least I've been clear, I think...
Nah, let's just forget about that crap and start posting, boys and girls. I know you didn't read those rules above anyway. :P (Nobody does, until it's too late, eh?)
