Emulating 3D in 2D is a cool idea. The Love 2D platform looks interesting as well. Thanks for introducing it to me.

A simple fake 3D maze demo made in Love 2D. Feel free to pick apart my horribly structured / messy code and yell at me about how I sould have done it. ;)
Windows instructions: Simply unzip the file and double-click 3dmaze.exe!
Linux / Mac OSX instructions: Download the proper version of Love 2D from https://love2d.org. After installing, double-click 3dmaze.love.
