Nice concept, but it should be more "game". As an experience its too frustrating: Too many "leaps of faith" where you can't see where you are heading.
Also, I think that sound is necessary if you want to set the right mood to it!
What did you use? Java?

Can you catch them all?
Burst pollenballs to fertilise seeds.
When seeds begin to flash move onto them and grow plants to help you in your search.
