All-Star Battlemania+Universal Crusade Collection

I think I have a similar problem to one of the people in this comment section, but: I cannot play any of the All-Star Battlemania games. When the file downloads & I click on each of the games' .exe files, it doesn't load up & instead this shows up:

This even happens when I try to extract the files into "properly-functional" .exe files - the process to do so just stops because of the same reason. Is there a way to fix this issue? I really want to play these games & this error makes me very much sad :(

Universal Crusade 2 is peak. The roster is so unbalanced, yet so perfectly chaotic (I don't know if that's an appropriate opinion to have, but it's just mine - since I have a feeling some characters can win with ease {recent example of mine: Quote. Holy hell his moveset is projectile based & it's effectiveness really shows} & some are Fulgore and/or Nightmare) that it makes me love it's imperfections even more (so much they turn around to being perfect).

this game is actually really nostalgic for me and my brother, as we used to play it alot some years ago, i thought it didn't exist anymore, glad i found it

Hello again. It's been a while. Let me tell you, it was nice going through memory lane and playing these games again whilst also experiencing Battlemania 3 and Redux as well (redux has so much potential and is really cool I hope it doesn't get abandoned).

First and foremost, I have actually sorted out the problem with Battlemania 1. It was simply because my antivirus kept blocking it from opening so I had to make the antivirus stop blocking it, and it worked.

Secondly, during my replay, I actually streamed the game on Discord with friends to see these obscure line of fangames, and they have loved it. The bizarre rosters, gameplay, all of it. They have even been going on about 'When will Jack Sparrow return in the newer games?', which is a funny little joke they made, though I'm mentioning it here because they really want him back in the games, since I played him a lot on Battlemania 1 because of his projectile spam (which is really funny when playing in arcade)

I know I haven't touched this account in a while, but I want to say thanks for archiving these games and thanks to Hyper for even creating these games and giving me childhood memories to now re-explore with my friends and to show them these games. It was really fun. I hope Hyper is doing okay in life and if there is another demo for redux, I will be VERY excited to play it. (do hope jack sparrow is in it though LOL)

Aight, one year after I got back to this series of fangames... and I gotta say: It's still peak. All of these entries are masterpieces in my eyes - they have flaws, especially when it comes to character balancing, but their charm cancels out everything that's bad about them. Universal Crusade 2 holds the most significance to me out of all these entires, but the rest is still peak (with All-Star Battemania 2 being an honest runner-up for my personal fav' from the pre-ASBM3 era - its gameplay feels surprisingly nice).
