The fangame interests me the truth, it's interesting to be able this time to play that video of “DOOM 2 + FNAF 2”, but there are some bad points, but I'll start by saying what I liked about the fangame:
• I like that you used those 2015 models, but with better lighting (And I could even say textured).
• The jumpscare are well animated
• The animation of the game over screen is nice to see, how the animatronic that killed you is in front of you is always a great detail, but the extra animation, although simple, makes it look good.
• I like that for each night you go through, animatronics are added to the menu.
Well, after saying the good, here are the bad points:
• Menu
- That you can exit by pressing “ESC” or at least a button to exit (It's not nice to have to press alt+F4 every time I want to exit the game).
- That in the game over screen you can exit by pressing on it, instead of using “Enter”.
• Gameplay
I guess this will change later, but... even so, there are several animatronics that seem to kill you just because.
Like “Withered Freddy”... either I don't understand its mechanics or I don't know, because, there are times it kills me after he laughing (2 times), when the night starts or 1 to 2 minutes after it starts (3 times), or when there's nobody there and I go to wind up the puppet box (2 times) (By the way, I appreciate how slow the music box is).
Although also “Tails”, as it has killed when I turn on the flashlight and decide to see some of the ducts (2 times)(but i think is bug).
Or mangle, that the 3 times he has killed me, has been for the same reason, I do not know when he appears, I tried to avoid him with the mask, hiding under the table, but nothing.
These problems have made that I can't pass the “night 2” after “4 am”, making me NOT enjoy the game and that the game at the end is more about luck than skill, because I don't see that I'm doing something wrong, for example, with “Withered Chica”, until I read the tutorial, I understood that I had to hide under the table, but not with these ones, at least in my opinion.
• Personal opinions
- I would add calls, because apart from helping you (although so does the tutorial wall, although the advice of the Sonic animatronics is a bit confusing at the beginning), it's something “entertaining” to do while you wait for animatronics to come.
- That you can turn off the cameras with a key instead of a button.
- That the cameras move by yourself is somewhat inconvenient, because to see if there is an animatronics on the left side and I'm looking at the right side, I have to move the camera myself, when it is “easier” if I just see how the camera moves (I don't know if I make myself clear here).
Abstract Distract: the game
Story: Your name is Jeremy Fritzgerald and you were hired by Freddy's Fazbear Pizza to watch the various mascots in the pizzeria but watch out! Cause this characters get quirky at night.
Summary: Abstract Distract is based on a old video with the same name, where you have a collab of FNAF, Five Nights at Sonic's, Five Nights at Tresure Island and Five Nights at Pinkie's.
The intent of the game is to bring nostalgia and a new look to people that watched the video, and present the series to newcomers in a fun way.
