You've got some nice artwork in this game! The player ship flying animation and death animation are a nice touch. The music is fitting and the variety of enemies is neat. I like that you have to alternate between enemies that can fire at any angle versus the forcefield generators. That boss ship also destroyed me real quick when I wasn't expecting it! 
Hey, the game is cool!
The laser powerup is kinda overpowered though, if you just "tap" the spacebar instead of holding it you can beat the entire game and play it without any hazard. :x
