just played through this short, but great story and oh man i love it!) the visual aspect is top-notch, i love the tilesets, love the portraits, love the characters, the battlers, everything looks gorgeous and i totally dig your style, Bushi!) the music choices were great too, and the animated sequence near the end lookes MAGNIFICENT! i also dig the world-building in this short story and i really hope you expand this project, i'd like to see how the world is on the outside, too, and see what other adventures Madi and Vivi embark on!)
the only two problems i've encountered is that, firstly, the Health Spray doesn't heal for 50 HP as it says in the description but for 200 instead lol and, secondly, the grammar is a bit off but you can clearly understand what all characters meant to say so it's all good, nothing too bad) for your first ever game for a game jam this is REALLY good, i hope you've won it and i wish you good luck if you wish to expand upon this project or make any other game!) take care!

This game is for my first-ever game jam. that I've tried to put enough stuff in the game to make it interesting with the limitation i have.
second note, due to issues on my end I had to rush a bit of the polishing. so not everything is top notch but still tried my best to make it interesting enough
On a side note although this game is very short. but this can be seen as a small prologue to a much bigger game in the future. as of right now
as of right now i used this as a time to gain experience and help me learn more about the program I am using.Â
