you are going to do a great job with your game and the story idea is cool and at least is not just one boss battle game 
The human (Chara) goes through yet another genocide, but they get bored with the repetitiveness of them so they try to modify the route by either doing different actions themselves or getting Temmie (A.K.A. the Flowey role) to change some stuff. In one particular instance, Temmie with the human's approval informs Sans of Papyrus' lab in the shed he always has locked, and sans' goes to investigate. Doing so, though, he finds a painful truth he can't escape... and it drives him MAD
