It's good for a first time, but i suggest to add double jump.
Also it will be better to improve some level design.

It seems that the hitbox is sometimes bigger than it actually is, but I'm not sure.
I agree, the background on level 1 needs to be fixed, it doesn’t look great.
It would be nice to add a couple of secrets or something similar.
For the first time is good. But I think, that you need to fix the background (Sky) in the first level.

This platformer game was created as part of my university project, using only free assets at this moment. At its current stage, the game features the core mechanics of a classic platformer and have 6 levels .The main task in the game is to reach the end of the level with 1 life, avoiding traps and obstacles ( game is designed to be difficult and a bit hardcore), You also have the opportunity to try all 6 levels, which I plan to refine and improve in the future as I continue to develop my level design skills.
As this project is part of my learning journey, I would greatly appreciate any feedback or suggestions to help me improve and grow as a developer.
