In the 1950s, college friends Jack Walten and Felix Kranken come up with the concept of animatronic children's entertainment. The two create a company and turn their idea into the children's restaurant Bon's Burgers. In the restaurant, lead by The Showstoppers, would be opened for a short time due to a series of disappearances connected to the restaurant, leading to almost everyone connected to the restaurant disappearing. Years later, Sophie Walten, one of the last remaining people connected to the restaurant joins the company and begins investigating the disappearances to uncover the truth.
