Good development so far I like this, took a bit of time to figure out still a few bits more, look forward to the full version.

Just finished the third challenge boss and I loved it! I don't know if it's intended, but When I spam attack with the swordsman, after the first three attacks I use the first attack every time, which is really fast, and I think that has the highest DPS. Also I like the fact that the upgrade materials are dropped by different bosses, and it is not said which boss drops what. I really felt like I figured out by the design of the boss, that the Wings are from the Eyeless Guy. (Maybe I just had a luck, and it isn't implemented like this, didn't test it, but if it is , I really love it.) My progression was: Archer, Shield, Sword. I felt like using the Shielded character is the hardest, and the Swordsman is the Easiest. I like how unique are the bosses, It really surprised me, that when I kill the Eyes, the boss gets blinded. Genius! Overall It is a nicely polished game, and the fights are fun. Love it.

Intuitive Controls and Unique Combat

Bound By Blades is designed for players of all types and is meant to allow any adventurer to embark on this challenging journey. The combat system is vast in allowing a variety of attacks like Quick Attacks, Strong Attacks, Combos and Unique Combo Finishers. But you'll need to survive too, so you'll need to master Blocking, Dodging, Running, and Healing using potions in the midst of battle. The game may look simple, but it opens itself to a wide dynamic of gameplay and challenges through the bosses' abilities and the necessity to master your own.

Learn the Lore of the Lands of Ashmyr

In-between battles talk with the NPCs in town to gain insight on where the Ilcyon came from and the stories of each one. Gain knowledge from the village elder, Eldros as he helps give tips on tackling each battle. And learn the lore of stories told within the world from Finny, the "magical and real heroine" of Bound By Blades.

A small glimpse into the progress on the 5th boss's attacks. Working with just temp art, functionality is the focus on these. Starting with a boomerang projectile and a persistent bouncing blade to give another obstacle.

We've been working on adding subtle Hit Effects (Hit freeze and Screen shake) to strong attacks, reflecting, and when getting hit to make them feel way more impactful!
