Best one I've played so far! Not truly sure I think the use of Champion works with the plot, though... I feel more like the Avenger or Consumer than a Champion.
That said, I had a good time. Combat is a pain when you chase the vine spawners, but it kept me going for a bit.
Right, I'm still in the middle of playing. But it's great.
Good humour, the art style is consistent and having a game where the boss is something to strive to beat is amazing. Very good job. Sound design...I love it

Play as a Monkey!
Champanzee is a roguelite combat game where your past lives will come back to haunt you. Gain new weapons and strange powers to help you take down your ultimate foe; the devil himself. But be careful; lose to him, and your soul will forever be cursed to serve as the devil's champion!
NOTE: Click your sword and helmet on the left side of the screen to view its enchantments! This is important to know!
NOTE 2: Magic you buy from the devil will only last for the next run after! They aren't permanent, so spend your Demon Blood wisely!

Exciting and Unique Equipment!
Defeated enemies have a chance to drop equipment throughout the game. Equipment has a chance to posses whacky and fun enchantments on them, which could give you the edge against your opponents!
A Final Boss Battle After Each Life!
After you die, prepare to find yourself in the underworld, pitted against Satan himself. Will you be strong enough to take him on this time, or will he steal your soul and inherit the right to control your monkey bod?
A Mysterious, Magical Shop!
Dealing damage to the devil will grant you Demon Blood. Satan might be willing to trade you a magic power or two, if you're willing to give him his blood back!
The Devil's Champions!
If you let the devil steal your soul, he'll turn you into one of his Champions! These champions will have your same gear, same stats, and same magical abilities, but not the same intentions! Champions of past lives will appear throughout the game to halt your progress. You better hope you can take yourself on and win!
