Hello, this is my Undertale fan game. Like thousands of others. I hope you'll find it interesting and I won't abandon it. I'll also find people to help with the project.
Plot:
There was a player. (He was there only for the plot, no hints, or anything like that.) He beat the game to the good ending and, due to his perfectionism, committed genocide. But he didn't want the consequences, so he decided to quit the game the moment Chara hit him. So, having received Chara's jumpscare, he quickly pressed Alt - F4.
Reentering the game after this, he saw that it worked. But not perfectly. Now there was a huge crack in the middle of the screen from Chara's hit, and the buttons were lagging. The continue button didn't work, and after using the reset button, he found himself lying in the throne room. And in the middle of the room was a huge crack. There was a save nearby, so the player quickly saved and quit. And uploaded the game online. That's how we get this game.
Game Features. Frisk has something resembling a personality. It's the only thing that will remind you of that player. Although "personality" isn't exactly the right word. They'll simply have emotions that affect their stats. When in a good mood, their HP increases by 10, their damage increases, and their defense is raised. When in a bad mood, everything will be the opposite. But they won't resist us, no matter which path you take.
Now Chara is hunting us. Saves work, but only if you lose to regular monsters. If you can't escape her, she'll destroy your save. (That's why it's best to copy your saves manually to a folder.) Any of their attacks is deadly, and escaping is like undead. That is, there's a button to escape and go to another room. You can kill them, but they have a lot of HP and our damage is low, and defeating them crashes the game.
Also, the entire map is split into two halves due to Chara's attack, opening up new paths. Now about the monster situation. They're divided into three groups.
1. They know everything, or at worst, only about the genocide.
2. They don't remember or know anything at all. They were having a normal day when suddenly the ground shook and all this crap happened. They don't know anything about you.
3. The missing. They simply didn't respawn after the reset, or were killed by Chara.
Lastly, there will be Gaster! (a mysterious man). He will be our main merchant (since most merchants know what the player did in the last timeline).
(Fun fact: the title as a word makes no sense. I just inserted the word "reset" into the word "continue," letter by letter.)
