On October 5, 1997, the animatronics arrived at the auction, visibly worn and damaged, exposing their endoskeletons. Clair Bradford, hired to investigate the history of Megan’s Donuts and Coffee, discovered an elevator leading to the underground facility. Accompanied by his friend Ethan, Clair uncovered disturbing evidence of MC’s experiments, including scraps of incomplete animatronics and logs detailing his obsession with bringing the Literature Club members to life.
