I don't know what to say.
It's just GREAT! (possible spoilers alert.)
From the moment I downloaded it until the very end, I thoroughly enjoyed the game. Overall, the gameplay is good. From the cool opening scene where you create your vessel, which will play a role, to the fun battles with unexpected twists. The game doesn't feel too big, but it's not too small either. Sometimes the attacks are annoying, but it's nothing that can't be fixed with a healing spell. I died about 5-6 times? Two before the final boss, and the rest were at his hands. As for the final boss, the fight with Mr. Friend was interesting. I thought the fight with him dragged on a bit, but I was just stupid enough not to buy the right healing items. However, his balling attack is not that good, a random change of speed and angle creates not really fun experience, especially when there's 3 balls.
Sprites were good too. I like Dess design. Her overworld sprites looks cute, but portraits... wasn't the best part. including vessel's too.
Music contains pure bangers. Every track just as good as it can be. Rad teamwork cooked with these. I really like friend's theme, its tension, leitmotifs, i just really like it. And other tracks too, like freedom breaker, which reminds me from now on with it starts.
I feel like this could be one of the best games from the jam. if not the best honestly. Great job!
Just Finshed The Game.
Surprisingly Hard, But I Liked the Story! ngl A Chapter 2 of The Vessel In hometown would be intresting
Since from what im getting from the start chapter one is taking place during this
