HOW TO INSTALL MOD INTO BASE GAME:
(recreates the thing I compiled)
Install Turbowarp
Install the original game
Go into \AppData\Local\Programs\defending-the-mall-vector\resources\app\assets, copy everything in it into a .zip file
Change the file extension of said .zip file to .sb3 and open it in Turbowarp
Insert sprite "Ringater's Additions.sprite3" into the project
Recompile using Turbowarp Packager
The settings I used here were:
Player Options: Only show fullscreen button in controls
Advanced Options: Enable Warp Timer
Environment: Electron Windows application (64-bit)
Application Settings: Start as window
You can also use this to recompile it into a package that works better on your system. (including Mac, Linux)
NOTE: This will not work correctly exported as plain HTML, and most likely won't work as a 32 bit application (ram usage capped).

DESCRIPTION:
So anyways I was playing this game that was made in Scratch and compiled into an executable and I encountered some problems with it that I tried to fix here using Turbowarp extensions.
This version:
Saves your progress (both locally and to GameJolt)
Runs right out of the box (no installer needed)
Hopefully won't crash as often
No original gameplay functionality has been altered.
Steve, if you're reading this, I have uploaded a .sprite3 file you can add to your original game to add saving in case you decide to update it. (Please give credit to me if you do so.) I would also recommend exporting it as a standalone executable with Warp Timer turned on, as that was what seemed to fix certain visual crashes on my end.

ORIGINAL GAME'S DESCRIPTION:
As if Black Friday isn't chaotic enough already, Henry Stickmin finds himself in the midst of a full-blown mall robbery! Will Henry face the criminals head-on, call for help, or run off? The choice is yours, in this all-new Henry Stickmin fangame set in an alternate timeline to the official Henry Stickmin games.

Defending the Mall is a Henry Stickmin fan project and is in no way affiliated with PuffballsUnited or Innersloth, the creators of the Henry Stickmin Collection(which you can buy on Steam!). Thank you for playing my game!
