Devling, the Soulreaper

just played through the second part of the demo and i have to say that it was awesome! a cool rpg with a great pixel-art style, awesome music choice, pretty good battle system and a simple, yet engaging storyline!) i also love the fact that instead of mana and gold you have souls, which adds more to the fact that Dev Glitch is a soul reaper!) the overall style of the game makes it stand out in the row of other games made on RPGMaker - it's pixel layout and 8-bit music play a heavy part in that) also, i love all the jojo references that you snuck here and there, like giorno's battle theme, DIO himself or D4City jajajajajajaja

but, with all that said, there is a few problems with the game - firstly, the brick road tiles that you walk on in the first two maps are treated like bushes - Dev Glitch's legs just kinda fade into them) you should tweak the tileset used for these locations and make the road be treated like a normal tile instead of a bush. next, there's a lot of text here and there that is left in spanish/portugal (sorry if i confused one for another - it's hard for me to make out the distinction between the two..), namely in battle - the crit message, the attack and the dying messages are all in another language. if you could polish out these two problems, DevGlitch, then the game would become a lot better!)

all in all, this demo was a blast to play through - a fun adventure of a soul reaper on a quest to hunt down the world's greatest threat while also meeting some cool characters along the way and having to battle humans for their souls - i enjoyed every second of it. alas, DevGlitch, i wish you best of luck and nerves of steel while continuing with the development for the game!) good luck!

the game sounds awesome, judging by the description - but i wish there was an english version, if it's possible to make one...
