Digimon World# 2.5 is a semi-remake fan game.
Relive Digimon World 2 through another character's eyes as he gets transformed into a Digimon and affect the story line through your choices.
Features of Digimon World 2.5:
A battle system that replicates Counters and Interrupts along with the multiple turns from the DS games.
Your actions and choices determine everything, from the Digimon you unlock to the Bosses you end up fighting.
Recreated and streamlined dungeons and Digi-Beetle features for less frustrating moments such as larger inventory and more useful Items.
Recruit, Trade, Digivolve and DNA-Digivolve to collect as many moves as possible. Create your ultimate Digimon.
Collect Digi-Eggs(Digmentals) and Spirits to unlock even more Digivolutions.
Join up with Akira, Bertran, Joy-Joy and Kim as a friend, rival or even foe.
Currently about 2-3 Hours Game-play.
New Update:
Hey guys! I finally have a stable version with the new additions and what not and I figured I'd update the horrendously old demo from 8 months ago. The newest dungeon/part isn't quite finished yet so I didn't include it.
CHANGELOG:
*Expanded on the start-up quiz with new choices and questions.
*Panjyamon has an extra base fight depending on your quiz results and the fight was made a bit easier.
*Changed and fixed most of the opening dialogue for it to make more sense in the story (The rival dialogue is still a placeholder however).
*The chaos lords will now give you a Power Core that imparts a strong beneficial effect. For the Digivolution one, you can do it as long as you're under level 4. The 15% not to consume items isn't programmed yet, so skip that one.
*Added Digimon passives from the Cyber Sleuth games and every Digimon has 3 Digivolutions depending on their DP and a unique skill (Except ShadowToyAgumon until further notice).
*Improved the three boss fights and all their variants.
And a bunch of other things, mostly visual.
Progress is still ongoing, slow but still in progress. That brings me to a small question, however: Lunamon&Coronamon or Herissmon&Labramon?
Even newer menu screen, with better race icons and the passive abilities from the Cyber Sleuth series. Also, better mini-radar
Looking for some people to Beta test the demo before next release. Preferably someone with Skype or Discord.
New tournament plugin courtesy of a good friend. Update is nearing completion.
A little surprise sneak peek in the making, also the reason it is taking a little longer than expected. Needs a bit more polish :)
