What is Cuphead?

Cuphead is a classic 2D "run-and-gun" action video game created by Studio MDHR. Heavily inspired by the 1930s "Golden Age of Animation" (like Fleischer Studios cartoons), the game is famous for its grueling difficulty, complex boss fights, and authentic hand-drawn cel animation and jazz soundtracks.The Story and PremisePlayers control the titular character, Cuphead, or his brother, Mugman. After losing a bet at the Devil’s casino, the brothers must go on a quest to repossess the souls of runaway debtors to pay off their gambling losses and save themselves.Gameplay MechanicsBoss Battles: The core of the game consists of intricate, multi-stage boss fights that require trial, error, and memorization to conquer.Run & Gun Levels: Traditional side-scrolling levels are scattered throughout the game, which players use to collect coins and purchase weapon upgrades and special charms
