DREAMSCAPE Plus

Dreamscape is a 2D Puzzle Platformer where you explore an abstract realm with only a laser gun by your side. Solve puzzles by bouncing lasers off reflective objects to reach your goal. Explore surreal worlds, solve puzzles, and experience the vaporwave-inspired soundtrack!

The demo of Dreamscape Plus includes the four worlds from the original game-jam version of the game, but with a fresh new look. Stay tuned for a whole new story mode featuring a new player character, and new worlds!

This is a remake of the first game that we released as a dev team back at the beginning of 2018. The original Dreamscape was made in 8 days for the Moodshift game-jam hosted by TairaGames on itch.io. We ended up winning the game-jam, and we had planned on updating the game with new features, but it never actually happened. The main feature that got scrapped from the original Dreamscape was the ability to chose one of three different characters to play as. In this version of the game, each character will have their own story mode to complete with unique levels.

Q. Will development on this game affect Aftereffect or Into the Aether?

A. It won't. Keep in mind that Splee Team has multiple devs in the team. Moof is in charge of Aftereffect and ITA, while Paul is the lead dev working on Dreamscape.

Q. How long has this game been in development?

A. This game has been in development for about a year as a side project. However, we've been talking about making a "Dreamscape Plus" since 2018 when we released the original game-jam version of the game.

Q. When will this game be released?

A. The demo of the game is nearing completion but needs a lot of bugfixes. It could just take a few weeks to release, but you never really know. We'll update the page when we see fit.

Q. Will it be free?
A. The demo will have the first four worlds for free, but the full game will be paid. Unless it ends up running too poorly for us to justify paying.
