Plot
Eggman was detecting for Chaos Energy in Marble Zone to find if there’s a Chaos Control nearby. However, instead of Chaos Energy, he detected an unknown energy coming from the ground. So he told his badniks to start digging. Hours after the mysterious energy was detected by Eggman, Tails followed suit and detected this energy aswell. However, there were many badniks that are in Emerald Hill which Tails is currently residing in. Therefore Sonic and Tails went out to destroy the badniks. Then they’ll go to Marble Zone where the energy is. After destroying the badniks. Sonic and Tails use the tornado to fly to South Island and the game begins.
