Today I might make a vid on the game
Really funny game, I always love seeing these kinds of games where its just image meshes to make everything rather than the typical render of the actual animatronic model inside the actual animatronic building model...
That being said, some of the criticism labeled against the game is true and fair - Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Sparky are non-threats considering the indicators of "Hey, they are here!!!" (Foxy and Cotty are fine enough lol)
The Special Night against Springtrap also loses some of its potential with the indicator - it could be a night where you paranoidly shine the hallway to see if Springtrap is there, but due to the indicator being there loud as ever it ends up being a "Hold click on the recharge and if you see the green indicator press the Shock button."
That being said I still found it incredibly fun and charming of a fangame and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world!
I'll be patiently awaiting the sequel:)
So, I have to say, I finished this game yesterday. For a first game... Not bad. Not the greatest but not the worst. I've seen worse than this. That aside, there are some issues I have.
1st of all, the most obvious, there aren't many mechanics to defend yourself with. I mean... All. 6 animatronics in the main 4 nights are dealt with by using the mask! It is different in the 5th night where you shock Springtrap, but still. My point is... In the next game or whatever, add more mechanics. Doors, camera lights, audio lure... Whatever you want.
2nd, the other most obvious thing is that the game... Is kinda too easy. I mean, you are given warning signs for the characters, basically rendering the door lights pointless. Same thing for Springtrap in the final night.
3rd, Cotty and Sparky, while nice additions... Look a bit out of place. At least... When they look like that.
4th, add maybe more lore to the games. Phone calls, sticky notes... Something.
Overall, not bad. I can see this becoming a decent series. A few questions: 1. Is there a 2nd game mode or smth? The app's name to me is "FreddyIsbackmaingame" which makes me think there's another mode. Doubt it but still. 2. I reckon that the story is now it's own thing rather than being based on the official fnaf games?
