hi, my name is joel, I’m a huge fan of old PS1 games and SpongeBob, so when I found that street vendor selling a strange box for almost nothing, I felt like I had just discovered treasure. Inside it, there was a CD of a game called “SpongeBob Super Sponge” and a tape with an episode called “Dumped.” It looked like the perfect mix of everything I loved. I bought it without thinking twice.
When I got home and put the CD into my PS1, the excitement quickly turned into unease. The game felt… wrong. Corrupted, distorted, like something was watching back at me through the screen. Even worse, there were already save files on the disc, which makes no sense, since you can’t even save directly on a CD.
