Lore

In 1985, William Afton and Henry Emily created Freddy Fazbear's Pizza under Fazbear Entertainment, featuring the Unwithered Animatronics.

William Afton murdered five children in a back room. Their names were Susie, Gabriel, Jeremy, Cassidy, and another child. Their souls went on to possess the animatronics.

At Fredbear's Family Diner, William Afton's youngest son died in an accident involving Fredbear.

Later, Michael Afton, William's oldest son, became part of the dark story of the Afton family.

William eventually wore the Spring Bonnie suit, but the springlock mechanisms failed. The suit closed around him, killing him and trapping his body inside.

This was the end of William Afton... and the beginning of Springtrap.
