I have decided on a direction for the game, A movement shooter Such as DOOM 1,2 (2016) and Quake 1
After sufficient testing and reintroducing features , this next build happens to be the first one with the new character, I am tweaking its movement over the coming builds.
I am looking into project Borealis movement pack to use, (It will effectively invalidate the old character I have been using.) I will be playing around with it and possibly make the switch next release. It might free me from issues with double jumping!
I will be moving the FPS movement pack to the multiplayer version for building the bots. The caveat is its default textures and models are broken. I will be using TF2 placeholders until I get permanent models and textures. Edit: They are now fixed
This new FPS build now has a better way of handling shooting and some minor changes to the (most likely) still not available AI. The Options menu is still a work in progress but I have updated it with pretty broken and nonfunctional resolution settings.
