In Final Fantasy Beastmaster the player takes on the job of a Beastmaster, a keeper of balance in nature by communing with the flora and fauna. You will take part in a quest to balance the elements of nature as you discover fantastical creatures and solve puzzles to recruit them to your cause. The character takes on the role of a Beastmaster that they can customize and name, and then takes part in an adventure to balance the world’s elemental crystals. As the story progresses, the character will encounter creatures and will need to solve problems in the form of puzzles to successfully recruit the beasts to their cause and progress in the story.
Note about concept – My goal is to one day work for Square Enix making Final Fantasy games so I wanted to take inspiration from Final Fantasy and make an original game that feels like it could fit with the others. This way I can practice achieving the correct themes, art, and feel of the other games while also producing new ideas and games just as I would if I worked for the company. This can also be used for my portfolio and for future projects. I know I cannot sell the game since it is using the Final Fantasy name, but I have no intention to do that. I own nothing and this should not be reproduced without giving credit to Square Enix and Final Fantasy as well as the people whose art I have used.
