Whoops, kinda forgot I was maintaining a gamejolt account. Sorry about that. I'll go put some of the latest builds for this game on here in just a sec.
The C++ conversion attempt is being shelved and development will continue in C#. I can't even begin to explain how rough it was trying to work with the GDnative C++ implementation.
It has been decided that this game's code will be converted to C++ for both self-teaching purposes and optimization. The C# version will remain available as a branch on GitHub, but I will not be updating/maintaining it. I will post my final C# build soon.
To-do / Project roadmap:
-Add more enemy types
-High score table
-Background Music?
Stretch goals:
-Networked co-op multiplayer
-Port this game to every platform possible for shiggles
