EnHanced is a fairly short, linear retro platformer shoot-em-up. It has original music, story, cut scenes, unlockable bios + flashback memories, manual, save games and levelling system that allows you to improve your performance (including max HP, beam power, range, cooldown (ammo restock time), running, jumping and then some).

The new improved EnHanced will add larger levels, more obstacles, better effects, art, enemies, music as well as the upgradable ability to shoot missiles and throw grenades!

As for the synopsis...

Memory is a funny thing. Security guard personnel H believes he remembers everything that’s happened up until now. But waking up deep in the bowels of the underground base he works at without quite knowing why makes him begin to question this. His first sight after waking being a shoe he instantly recognises as belonging to his daughter only complicates matters...
Now unsure of the current circumstances, H is brought up to speed by the loud-mouthed announcement reader Larank. He’s implying there's been some kind of huge breach and there are hostile creatures roaming the base!
But can someone that jokes about children dying as almost a means of an introduction like Larank be trusted at all? Well, he’s the only person you’ve talked to since this all started so it doesn’t seem you have much choice...
