Little Defender

Very-very nice surprise among HTML5 games, methinks. Fine idea, room for tactics and planning, cute visuals, so hope it will turn out to be a nicely balanced game in the end - not much is lacking to achieve that.

The art and animations, as well as the attention to detail in terms of UI and communicating information to player is really well done.

I do feel that the gameplay was lacking a bit. I felt like I didn't need to place any defenses at all, as the hammer swing itself seemed to do just fine with its faster animation speed compared to the alien's. Also, the aliens would run back to the end of the ship every time I hit them once, which made me never feel like I was in any real danger. When I did build defenses, I felt they were pretty weak, with the turrets being able to only kill a few aliens before they had to reload, and at that point I just stopped reloading them and stuck with the hammer.

If you made defenses stronger and more autonomous (to incentivize using them), fixed the thing where the aliens run back to the end of the ship, made the beginning waves go by quicker (to improve replayability), and added more enemy variety or something else to increase gameplay variety, it could be a pretty solid game!

Also, I don't mean anything negative, just trying to provide an honest perspective. Really, nice work on this! I can tell there was alot of care put into making it.

The art is really well done! I love that hammer swing animation.
