This feels like hopeful :D
I love this demo! Characters are cool, sprites and animations are looking amazing!
Absolutely gonna wait for a full thing to release
Played for 2 hours, looks very promising so far. Exploring and overall maps design is great, story is engaging, I especially liked the humor. I guess grammatically wise dialogues sometimes written kinda... weird, so it's hard to understand what characters are talking about. Gameplay is okay, but so far all 4 characters lacks of some unique abilities instead of like all of their movesets being just damage dealing skills. I playing normal mode and doesn't know how the game plays in pain mode but I think some enemies should get buffed or reworked in some way so you don't just spam the most damaging moves until you kill them
Man, I just started it, but you either beated the hell out of me with the first minutes or those 2 will be more important later. Anyway, Adding this to the "Lisa fangames I will be hyped as fuck about" list.
Those animations are WAY TOO SMOOTH for a lisa game. By god.
I played about 2 hours, stopped at the first mutant. If I were 6 years younger I definitely would've finished it. At present, I'm definitely not the target audience... Still, this is pretty cool. Loved the exploration, how so much of the game is optional content, that's great. Dialogue is fun. The overworld animations are also a nice touch.

Demo is now released!

LISA: The Downcast follows 4 drug runners, Jackie, Elijah, Slam Jackson and Matías.
They work at the bottom of a long chain of suppliers selling Joy, Glee and other designer drugs to west Olathe from an unknown source to anyone looking to buy.
Little do they know about the consequences that they've made for themselves and west Olathe with doing what's needed to make ends meet.

With this current run almost at an end, Slam Jackson, retired stuntman, decides to do a little bit of off-roading and, well, let's just say it's going to be a long walk back.
This time has been different. Elijah, the leader of their little group and something of a mentor to Jackie, has had them take the reins to see if they can handle the responsibilities of leadership.
Jackie was the only choice as Slam isn't interested while the last of their number and resident brawler, Matías, flat-out refuses to make large decisions. preferring to lounge in the back making sardonic comments and occasionally throwing furniture at people that look like they need a table hurled at their face.
Unbeknownst to them, their journey back to their base of operations is about to go more off-road than even Slam Jackson has taken them before...

Demo with 5-6 hour playtime
Optional Pain Mode
Around 50 battles
91 all new music tracks
Various gangs: the Plague Bearers, the Fortune Cookers, Cirque Du Cosmos, the deadly Thrill Hunters and more!

Matías can throw some small objects picked up in the overworld; Rocks, Empty Guns, Lamps, Stools and small Flags! (Post demo would see him start throwing larger stuff)

Big cast of weirdos including the FIENDISH Sire Toxicrowe; head of the Plague Bearers and maker of Trials for those seeking passage through the deadly Plague Valley, the Brand New Used Car Salesman Uscard Salman and of course who could forget dear Suitcase?

Drama, occasional spooks and plenty of funny business

Elijah's pet crow, Duke!

(While we hope we can make the full version, we'll be taking a break from it (to get back to work on our own projects) and see how we're feeling!)
