just played through the demo and i have to say that it's very promising! the whole intro with Alure battling the god of fate itself and losing to him in process is awesome and sets the plot up so that you know what the goal of the main characters is right from the start!) the locations are pretty good, too - the only problem with them is that sometimes the map goes overboard and doesn't have any tiles so you can see the sky at the village's borders, jajaja) the way you recruit Hazel (well, on paper) sounds awesome - if every new party member will have an quest leading to their arrival at the party then the game will be awesome!)
my only other complaint is that the god of faith's battle image doesn't quite fit his overworld look - i was expecting a god in ironclad armor and instead i got an eldritch abomination that probably serves Tzeench or Slaanesh( well, that's just a minor complaint, at least!)
overall, the demo is pretty good - it has a lot of promising and great ideas that just need to be executed well, and i belive that you, YourLocalScoutMain, can make them work out great!) i wish you best of luck, nerves of steel and lots of inspiration during the game's development process and in your future endeavors!) take care!
An RPG game. Currently using only the assets RPG Maker MZ has provided me, and is currently a solo project, so if anyone wants to, they can help out by making sprites, artwork, ect. currently the game only has a starting story area, without much context, but hey, shouldn't be too long till that gets sorted out, it also has a VERY unfinished town area (Ill add more later, currently it's just the basics so you can grind if you want), and two other areas, and a non-working overworld map, your just surrounded by water. also by the "you can help out with the game by making artwork or sprites" (music is also fine) I will be holding a competition for the banner, thumbnail, ect. winner straight up just gets a spot in the description. also I plan to make this game alot bigger than what it is now, and it is more of a test than anything (I have much bigger plans involving some characters from a novel on wattpad that I am also working on) anyways, go play the game if you want to. #rpg
