Doctor Robotnik was, mysteriously, nowhere to be found in Scrap Brain!

Metal Sonic, figuring he might do well to know his creator's whereabouts, goes off to investigate. Little did the machine know, there was a force at play. A force, by a wide margin, greater than he could imagine. After some time, he made it up to the site where his creator and arch-nemesis first clashed. But, what he found was of no such familiarty. He was swiftly taken over by the rogue sentient debug code: Debugger! Try all he might, the machine could not resist The power of the being that wanted his vessel, and he soon succumbed. Getting its bearings in its newfound body, Debugger realized that it could bend this whole world to its whim, and take revenge on its own creator. Heading off with vengeance in its heart and chaos in its mind, This is where our story begins...
