Mole Game Classic (Early Demo)

WARNING: THE GAME IS NOT IN AN INCREDIBLY STABLE STATE!!!

This is the 'early demo' of Mole Game Classic. This is a the first - and likely the only - public build of the game to be released for a while. For those who are not on the Cheeze Dragon discord (link below), this game has been more of a learning project for us than anything more, and we are now moving on to a different game. There is a chance we will come back to this project, but when we do, it will likely be redesigned and remade from scratch. As such, though this game is marked as 'early access', do not expect more content or fixes to be released in the near future, and instead think of this as a showcase of all we have been working on.

During Mole Game's development, a key principle of the game design was lost along the way. In version 0.1.0 of that game, there were only 3 resources, only 2 of which were actually used for upgrades. In version 1.0.0 however, there are 18 resources, creating a large amount of bloat, and leaving early game resources to be completely useless.
Mole Game Classic aims to return the 'classic' gameplay of Mole Game version 0.1.0, while still expanding in ways that leave a more interesting game than the bare bones early access version 0.1.0 of Mole Game could offer.

Just like in the original, you play as a Mole. Once again, you will collect various resources in order to purchase upgrades that will make you stronger. Defeat progressively stronger enemies to collect even more resources, so that you can then become even stronger, and so the cycle will continue as you progress through the game's main areas.
Meet friends (both old and new) that can aid you, fight bosses, and unlock new abilities that were never seen in Mole Game!.

As of the early demo, only one major area and boss has been implemented, and game mechanics + story are scrapped together as best they could be by a team of developers completely new to the Godot engine and Git.
