Experience a unique African adventure game replete with engaging challenges and puzzles. Nsala Liberation combines both openworld exploration with more linear dungeons. If you are a fan of the Legend of Zelda this game is for you.

In this journey, you follow the tale of the eccentric witch Lanoa Lumumba. Travel with her across the land to free slaves and search for her family who were taken by powerful Mashetani spirits.

Initially released in 2014 on a now archived website, Nsala Liberation is quite possibly the first African video game to ever truly take inspiration from the African arts and cultures south of the Sahara.

The anniversary edition of the game is now on Game Jolt please enjoy this new and improved version which has new areas to explore, spells to cast, items to find, and more ways to reduce the difficulty so that more players can enjoy this epic journey.

The final build of the game has just been uploaded. That said, I plan to still do yet another playtest post upload just to be careful and also because I want to film a walkthrough video for Youtube. Have fun!

The final version of Nsala Liberation will likely be done sometime this year. The currently available game is an Open Beta test and not the final build. If you find some glitches or issues let me know and I will try to fix them before the final release.
