Decently entertaining concept/puzzle

maybe too much text hints,leads which may have been better with visuals like Sfx or animation in their places

PUZZLE

  • You don't always have to give the clue to players by the text, it
    make the puzzle too easy to solve.
    (Since the batteries are seem easy to find, so you can show the
    visual of vacuum with 2 empty slots)

  • The puzzle sequence is linear, it make players know how to do each part to another part easily.

  • The sequence of the puzzle that players have to use the same
    item to interact with new object seems interesting, it amazed me
    when I can solve it(When gather green liquid from the UFO.)

UI

  • After I press PAUSE button, I don't know how to resume to the
    game at first. When I press PAUSE and the box appear at the
    center of the screen, it make me focus at the center. So, it might be better if you add resume button in the PAUSE box.

  • When I move my character to the location that the green arrow will appear, the character can cover the arrow and I cannot move to another side of the house, so I have to move out of that point to be able to point at the green arrow.

  • The green arrow gradually sting my eye after I played game for a while T T.

  • The inventory bag seems contrast to other UI.

Visual

  • The first Cutscene seems to have text box sometimes, then I realized that it was the grass that character use to hide LOL.

  • After I use the vacuum interact to the anthill, I didn't notice any change until I open the inventory.

  • The main character looks cute -w-

SFX

  • There is no sound in Cutscene, I want to hear something in the game while watching the Cutscene.

  • After the BGM play for a while, it silence for a long time.

Overall, the puzzle has proceeded in linear-line(it can be guessed easily). And now the story unable to makes me feel excited with it that much. However, it seems like it can be an interesting game if it has been improved.

Here is the list of what I've found while playing:

For the story, now I haven't know the motivation or the reason of " why I have to chase alien? ". So, it makes me didn't enjoy the story that much.

Start Menu

  • Add some music

  • Add some transition/animation (if you prefer)

Add - Loading Screen (if you prefer)

Cutscene

  • Visuals

    • The grass she hiding looks flat - It makes the grass looks like a color block or balloon for the dialogue instead

    • Clarita is cute btw.

  • Sounds

    • Add some BGM into the cutscene

    • Add some SFX when the dialogue is running

    • Now is so boring to watch the cutscene without any sound.

In-game

  • Bug

    • When I collect the sucker filled with batteries, the SFX keep repeat playing itself until I have finished the dialogue.

    • After I shoot to the UFO and click to it, nothing happened and I've no clue of what to do next at all.

  • Visuals

    • The sucker looks like electric shaver for me

  • Sounds

    • The BGM has completely silenced for a long time when it's ended until it starts to repeat again.

    • BGM sounds scary to me

    • It has a lot of noise along the BGM that makes me feel annoyed. The end of the BGM is the best part for me because the noise has faded out. (You can keep it if you want this atmosphere. But it's very annoying for me.)

Very cute (◠‿◠) I wanted more!
It has some bugs, but it is understandable because it is a Demo.
