What is this game?

A single-save stat-based RPG set in a haunted manor shrouded in fog and cosmic dread! If you ever wanted to solve a murder in a haunted manor where every run is a fresh mess of secrets, suspects, and supernatural weirdness... this is for you.

You’ll be grilling suspects, poking holes in alibis, and piecing together clues- sometimes while running for your life from things that go bump in the night. It’s not about button-mashing or speed running; it’s about thinking, taking notes and outsmarting the game (and maybe yourself!)

The vibe? Moody music, crunchy sound effects, and ASCII art that actually sets the scene. You get a journal, a number of deduction charts and a bunch of QOL features to keep your brain on the case. Every choice you make, who you trust, what you ask, when you push your luck- shakes up the story.

You play as an investigator tasked with solving the disappearance of a high dignitary. Each playthrough features procedurally generated suspects, dynamic clues, and evolving motives and alibis that interact with one another, creating a unique web of relationships and contradictions every time.

As you explore grid-based rooms, interrogate suspects, and gather evidence, your choices and deductions shape the unfolding story, while supernatural events and stat-based skill checks add layers of challenge and replayability.

The game’s unique persuasion system allows you to break through suspect defenses, and the suspects themselves can corroborate or contradict each other, affecting your investigation strategy. Can you unravel the truth before darkness or madness claims you?
