Puyo Puyo Fever RPG (ぷよぷよフィーバーRPG ～異世界への招待～) is an RPG fangame based on the Puyo Puyo series, primarily the Fever series.

CONTENT WARNING

This fangame contains dark themes, emotional and psychological distress, blood, strong language, unsettling content, and cute characters going through really bad days.

It pushes beyond what traditional Puyo Puyo games usually explore, and is not recommended for a younger audience.

STORYLINE

When Amitie receives a mysterious RPG set from a certain friend (yes, her), weird things start happening. Now? She and her friends are trapped inside the game. Not in a "oh wow, how quirky" way. This campaign's alive. And someone's not playing nice.

Join the Primp Town Quintet as they journey through bizarre, dangerous, and emotionally charged RPG-inspired worlds, all while trying to figure out who's been taking people from the starting village, and why.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• A story-rich RPG fangame full of character development that traditional Puyo Puyo battles can't tell.

• Explore strange character arcs part of this game's take on the Puyo Puyo timeline.

• Multiple RPG-inspired worlds. You know, magical forests, hot deserts, underwater kingdoms... you get the idea.

• "When will this game be released?" 

  Around Mid-to-Late 2026 if things go right.

• "Why is this going to be so dark?"
  Because sometimes, growing up means facing inner demons. Literally. The tone shift allows me to explore the cast in deeper, more mature ways without sacrificing their essence. It's still them! It's just them under pressure. Plus, remember Madou Monogatari? In one of the games, Schezo gets beheaded. It's true, trust me.

• "Are Lemres (+ Feli) going to play a part in the full game?"
  :)

• "Do I have to know Puyo Puyo to play?"
  Gameplay-wise, nope! Lore-wise, definitely.

• "Who's the most important character in the story?"
  Hard to say without spoiling too much, but the game opens with Amitie and ends with Lidelle.

• "Sequel?"
  There are indeed plans for a sequel! Let's just say things are going to get pretty fun. :)

• "What is the main inspiration for this fangame?"
  PPFRPG wears its Deltarune inspiration on its sleeve and it's not afraid of it.

• "Current platforms?"
  Currently, I have a Windows build. But if you can try hard enough, you can run it on MacOS or Linux/Steam Deck.

• "Do you plan to make a regular Puyo Puyo fangame after finishing this duology?"
  Yes! I'm currently planning on a camping-themed fangame that contains the regular Puyo Puyo cast (or at least, most of it), with a brand new protagonist. Stay tuned for that!

• "Where does this game take place in the Puyo Puyo timeline?"
  Puyo Puyo Fever RPG is set after the events of Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop.

Full Game coming in Very Late 2026.
