Query is a surreal adventure RPG, where you explore a simulated afterlife, and help people with their various problems, making friends and enemies along the way.
Query has RPG elements, with stats, buffs and de-buffs along with its exploration and story-telling. Conversations with other characters have multiple dialogue choices, leading to different consequences. Earn XP and level up, putting points into a skill tree to fit your own style.

Collect a variety of weapons called "Kaibu". With over a dozen to acquire, Kaibu have their own unique properties and stats. Which can be used to traverse the game world to access new areas, or to fight specific types of enemies.
Earn special effects for your character throughout your journey. These help in a variety of ways through combat and exploration. Turn into a fly to access a small hole in the wall. Burst into flames to cause a small fire. Or maybe even turn into an umbrella to make it rain.
Talk to characters based on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®. With fleshed out and fully realized NPCs and interactions.
Query is constantly updated, though it is finished right out of the box. Game updates are tied into the game lore, with extensive patches each time.
Earn achievements which show off your progression and feats. Some achievements also supply buffs or unique items to incentivize getting to the hardest content.
Build and maintain your own personal heaven. Using various buildings, tiles and different brush sizes. Earn and buy assets from various parts of the afterlife, to put into your home. Maybe even recruit new people to join it and unlock special mechanics!
Query features incremental mechanics too. The game will progress and you'll collect resources even while you're away from the game.
