This game is AMAZING!!!
But im so disappointed to hear that you stopped developing this game.
I'm a Chinese, and i want to translate this game to Chinese.
Though i think you will never reply me, i will try my best to translate it.
And I want to make a game --also a visual novel game like this--which extends your games' background settings. Of course, it will be in Chinese but i will try my best to translate it into English and publish it to GAMEJOLT, and I will include your name in the credits.
Thanks a lot for giving me so much fun.
I know you’ve been away from the game for a while, and I understand you might feel that the work you did back then wasn’t perfect—or even that it was quickly worked or “cringe.” But I want to say something important: from where we stand, your creation was unique. No one else could have built that world, those mechanics, or that experience. You are the sole creator, and that makes all the difference.
Even years later, the community still talks about this game, plays it, and wonders what could have come next. We see the potential, the charm, and the originality in your work—things that only you can bring to life. What might feel unfinished or imperfect to you is exactly what makes it special to us.
We’re not asking for perfection; we’re asking for your perspective, your creativity, and your voice. To see you return to this novel would be a gift for all of us who have been waiting to see where your vision could go next. The community misses it, and more importantly, we miss the work that only you can create.
Even a small step forward would mean so much. Sometimes, the most meaningful projects are the ones that return, not because they were flawless before, but because the creator comes back to shape them again.
Thank you for everything you’ve already shared—it’s touched a lot of people. We’d love to see you take it further.
A week ago played in that novel, and want to see a continue story
Even though this game was short, I enjoyed it. I think if you had continued developing it and fixing all the mistakes, it would've come out as a really nice game. But in any case, I found the game enjoyable.
NEET who lives in a container on a skyscraper sounds familiar :)
R.I.M = A Minecraft Visual Novel with maybe a good plot?
This is a visual novel based on the sandbox game Minecraft.
The game is different from the normal Minecraft VNs, (and also the main point of the modifications, from which I took the sprites.) It isn't just about getting and banging all girls. I think, I wrote an actual story.
PS: I'm not the best at the grammatical part so please don't hate me too much because of the mistakes.
*EDIT: 31.01.2021
I didn't expect some guy with 700k subs to play it. Wow, I'm unlucky. (Because I cringed each and every time when I watched that video. Why couldn't I make something better back then? Damn it...)
R.I.M stands for "reincarnated in Minecraft", I thought it was obvious but most people came with "rest in Minecraft" which I guess works as well.
Artist for the main menu:
Dumb story, I totally forgot to credit that person. I don't even have a defense, because I was aware of copyright, hence I used the mob talker sprites which were free to use as long as I mention that it came from that. It totally slipped through my mind that I needed to credit the artist for that cute Cupa image. (I found it by just typing "cute cupa". It seems they're still doing cute Minecraft art, so if you're into that. Shoot your shot.
I got the sprites from here:

Background:
I played Minecraft, built stuff, and took screenshots. Then I just edited them with Photoshop with filters. The old technique even the Higurashi guy used, though I'm not sure if it had been Photoshop back then. Increase contrast. Make it blurry. Play with the saturation. And then you have your original yet budget background.
