Lowkey a fun lil horror experience.

I'd definitely play again to try and speedrun it in true sonic fashion, but alas, I have not the remembrance of how 2 delete a gamejolt apps data, so Im cursed to wonder what refusing the totally romantic goal monster's heart would do!

Incomplete review here, but the game is fairly short and I Have gotten the gist and ending has been seen.

Safe to say, this is quite the enjoyable little work, regardless of it's length. It does the disguise of a "Normal Test Game" wonderfully well, and doesn't make it feel like an actual disguise.

Gameplay wise, it's smooth and responsive, even if a bit jank. But not unplayable jank, it's just jank enough to be a notable hindrance to make gameplay a little more difficult. Jumps are difficult to make but not impossible once you've gotten a hand on the movement, it all works into making it Feel like a Test Environment for an old Dreamcast. Thankfully, the game accepts controller support, so a lot of the turning problems are solved from there.

Monster wise, Gigantic fan of their design. Its relatively simple for most Entities, yet New, fresh, without the general cliches that usually run in these kinda games. The VA also did great making them sound Tired, but somewhat intrigued(?)

Although the maze is a bit of a pain, along with the controls, but the actual "Failure" makes it simply a memory game instead of trial and error, which I greatly appreciate.

Overall, I'd give this cute little piece of work a 9/10 for what it's going for, and it achieves it easily. I do hope to see more of this... Angel? I believe was the earliest descriptor of them. They are quite wonderful.
