The game w■s very strange, presenting itself as a single executable file and adve■tised as having "new features and characters to play with". ■eople reported their computers running slower after playing through the game, which was said to contain disturbing and even cult-like imagery, despite apparently being a SONIC 1 port.
The creators of the game, known only as TEAM X, disappeared from the internet soon after releasing the game. No one knows who they were or their motives.
I'm archiving this here just in case anybody's looking for this obscure piece of software.
