Nice work on this so far! A bug I found is that, when losing a life and pausing the game, a life will subtract that's more than what's needed and can result in a game over much sooner.

You're someone who's into old retro gaming content. You're browsing the deep, wide web looking for something new to play, when you stumble upon a strange rom. Even stranger, it's a ROM of an old, outdated system, the Famicom Disk System. The rom you find is simply called "Subcon".
Being really curious about it, you decide that you're going to play it and see what it's about. It's just a strange rom right? perhaps a hack or something? right?
