Smash Fighter Redux
The purpose of this project has been to explore the possibilities as well as the limits of creating an enemy A.I. for a 2D fighting Game. This Idea came about while working on my personal project “Smash Fighter” in which I previously had focused on exploring “A correct Way” of creating a player character movement system, input system and a good code structure. This game however needed enemies, and because the only experience of A.I. creation I previously had was to make objects follow the player, it felt like a given to choose to dive headfirst into A.I. development. What has inspired me is first and foremost my previous lack of knowledge on the subject, but also a fascination with many things included in the very broad umbrella term that is A.I..
