Do you need to make a server to even play this?

i have a question regarding the server for the mod. whenever theres more than 7 people in a lobby after a match finishes the game and server crash on the spot, is there a fix for that in the works? me, GRN and a few others had this issue when hosting this.

Is there any plan to make an android port because this mod is so cool but i can't try it because i'm on android
