Terrific adaptation. I watched the playthrough and thought, "Gee, I wonder if this was made in AGS?" and lo and behold!
This was really well done, much like the roast itself. I liked that you added alternate dialog options that Skinner stumbles over, as well as additional voice interactions for clicking on random things to see what they do. The adaptation of the LucasArts 9-Verb interface to a Simpsons font was also a nice touch!
I wish the game would have had no voice acting so that I could provide the voices myself. And there was less gameplay than there was things just happening on their own. But I do still like the game because of the original scene itself.
Not all heroes wear capes! You are one of the greatest humans.
freakin love this
my playthrough of the game. it's a shame it's so short, cause it would of been cool to do for a stream. but either way i liked it :) https://youtu.be/WG3BQ1i2qv8
Fangame based on the famous Simpsons segment "Steamed Hams"
===ABOUT===
You've invited Superintendent Chalmers over for lunch! He'll be here any second and is expecting a well cooked roast!
Fortunately, you have been preparing just such a roast all morning! Hopefully you don't accidentally burn it and set certain events into motion...
NOTE: This game is intended as more of an interactive experience than an actual game. For those of you looking for an actual challenging adventure, ignore this game. It never happened. It doesn't exist. These aren't the droids you're looking for. Move along.
===INSTRUCTIONS===
This game is designed to feel like a classic LucasArts style adventure game (think Monkey Island/Day of the Tentacle).
To control your character you must construct basic sentences such as "Open door" by clicking on the verb "Open" at the bottom of the screen and then clicking the door.
You can also simply right click most objects and the game will automatically input the correct default action.
The recommended action will also be automatically highlighted at the bottom of the screen when you hover over an object.

===CHANGELOG===
v1.1 (Dec 5 2022):
-Minor code cleanup.
-Updated to Adventure Game Studio 3.5.1, this seems to have fixed the game creating a 'warnings.log' every time it's launched.
-Fixed awkward audio skip when Chalmers says "You know, these hamburgers are quite similar to the ones they have at Krusty Burger."
-Fixed some incorrectly coloured pixels around the edge of Chalmers' toe in a few poses.
-Improved the dialogue timing for the 'pick up Chalmers' gag, and added a cheesy grin.
-Released the game as open source! (https://github.com/NeoDement/game_SteamedHams)
v1.0 (Jan 27 2022):
