Imagine a world being consumed not by plague or dark magic. It is being consumed by something living. A sentient parasite that slips into wounds and steals the body. It erases the personality and snuffs out emotions like candles. All that remains is an empty shell.
In this world, you live. You have lost almost everything. And the little that remains your children is slowly turning into something else. The Corruption inside them sleeps, waiting for its moment.
Run? No chance. Fight the hordes of the infected? You are no army. You have only one, insane idea.
