In 2000, the Anderson family moved to Denver, fleeing Wisconsin. Miles, a boy with autism, found refuge in video games, especially Super Mario Bros. After years of bullying, he met Eliza, who supported him and with whom he shared his passion for games. In 2004, Miles learned to program and created a Mario game he wanted to show Eliza, but he was ambushed by his bullies, who killed him after a fight. His attackers threw his body into a lake, but Miles died and was traumatized. Miles took the form of a dark and sinister Mario in his game, filled with rage. Twenty years later, the perpetrators, now adults, found the game and, upon playing it, discovered they were trapped in Miles' digital revenge, who awaited them in his virtual world...
MARIO 2004 is a retake/reimagining of the legacy Super Mario.exe game, and slightly inspired in SONIC 2011. This retake aims to improve the original game (it will also be inspired by the upcoming SuperMario.exe game by @MidnightBajaBlast 
).
⚠️REMINDER: I, as an individual, and the entire development team of this game, although created as a love letter to Super Mario.exe V4 and later versions, do not condone the actions or decisions made by AlbertGames during his debacle. I feel for the victims who suffered through this experience and wish them the best. The reason this game remains is to prevent it from going to waste...
MARIO 2004 isn't meant to be taken seriously; it's more of a love letter to the original games!
