This is the thumbnail of my game, I currently put it on devlog right now. But I'm trying to make a game with these animatronics int hem. XD

Do you have any guess when this will come out?

No need to rush or anything, I'm just curious.

Also is there a way to make freeroam games

okay this is epic

i have a question. can we import our own models?

Fnaf Kit is a game designed to allow for the creation of custom nights and maps that are both sharable and playable by anyone else with the game. The project was in on and off development for its first year, before it was scrapped and rebuilt from the ground up in its current form.

This game is a one-man effort, so progress is not that fast. If interested in helping out, pm me.

Drawing some icons for the map editor tools now almost everything is working. Look out for the 'erase door/window' icon, which does not contain a shameful business cover up after events that certainly didn't happen. Editor footage coming tomorrow :D

Would different game modes beyond classic fnaf gameplay interest you? If so, what?

Some small progress. The room code can handle doors and other wall types. (The holes are basic so you can place different doors and frames). These are simple single doors but offset and wider doors are planned so that hallways can be 2x2.

Been optimizing room generation code to run smoothly with rooms being able to be 80 cells big before any noticeable lag during set up.

Implemented Room wall themes which can be changed any time during editing. We will have some footage available after a few more tweeks to wall code. But the editor is coming along.

Listing assets and themes to be included in the fnaf kit editor. Ideas and suggestions very much welcome as once the build system is ready we can set to adding in proper models.

First look at the building system. At the moment It's very bare bones, but you can place and remove 'cells'. Cells that are part of the same room share a wall and floor style and change shape depending on their neighbours.

Right. First, pleased to say the game almost has an In game room editor ready. It's basic at the moment while all the logic is ironed out. But it uses a simple grid system with each cell configuring itself into shape based on adjacent walls. More to come.

My boy! my son. oh god what has happened to your feet? Re rigging the test guy and trying the modular walls out.
