work has been hard and you come home to enjoy the rest of the day, but as soon as you put the tv on, the news channel pops up with the heading "KIDS GONE MISSING, STILL NO CLUE TO THEIR WEARABOUTS", they go on the explain that 3 weeks ago two kids had gone missing near to where you live, all of a sudden the tv glitches out and all signal is lost, when you get to see what's happen you hear a noise, when you turn back around a DVD is left on the couch where you had been sitting, you put in the DVD and a show called the midnight appearance comes on where 2 characters (Jessie and Lad) are exploring eerie environments, but something feels off so you decide to keep watching to see what is happening
