This game is an unofficial fan made project and is not affiliated with the Kriya Studios or Scott Cawthon. While most of the main music is made by Me and a few others, most of the sound effects and ambient tracks belong to Frictional Games and The Chinese Room. This game was only made for fun and does not intend to infringe on any copyright.

This game is in its own self-contained story and timeline. This world does not tie into any other TRTF game or fangame in general. This rule applies to every TRTF game unless clearly stated otherwise in either the game itself or any projects I (@LiminalNS ) am associated with. Also, FNAF is NOT canon to this game's story.

TRTF Ascent is a reimagining of a cancelled FNAF fan game called The Return to Freddy's 5 by Edmund Ahlstöm (formerly BFPfilms424 and PoniatorFilms). This game is rebuilt from the ground up with new ideas never seen in a TRTF game and aims to fully realize the potential of TRTF5. The story is rewritten but remains somewhat faithful to the original story. It features reimagined gameplay with full free roam, many floors to explore, puzzles to solve, and threats to avoid. Throughout your ascent through the dreadful Fazbear INC, your past will unravel as well as the events that lead to your journey.

This games inspiration comes from the TRTF series, the FNaF series, the Amnesia series, The cancelled P.T. Silent Hills, and Silent Hill 1 - 4.
